2014 Medical Missions Trip - India Connection
Every year in January we send a team of volunteers from America to serve the medical needs of the people of India. Thousands have been blessed both physically and spiritually at the free medical camps we set up on the street outside of our permanent facility in Pune, the Koinonia Medical Clinic. Many of the patients come from the nearby slums, they are desperate for medical and dental care. Many are suffering with multiple issues including hypertension and diabetes.
As great as their physical needs are, their spiritual needs are even greater. Pastor Tony and the faculty and students of the Koinonia School of Ministry prayed and shared the Gospel to all who came through the prayer station. Many New Testaments were given out and seeds were planted for the Kingdom of God. So many hungry souls requested prayer, and it was wonderful to share the love of Jesus with them.
