Diabetes is the name given to disorders in which the body has trouble regulating its blood glucose or blood sugar levels. There are two major types of diabetes: type 1 and type 2. Type 1 diabetes (T1D) is an autoimmune disease in which a person’s pancreas stops producing insulin, a hormone that enables people to get energy from food. Type 2 diabetes is a metabolic disorder in which a person’s body still produces insulin but is unable to use it effectively.
JDRF is the leading global organization focused on type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. Driven by passionate, grassroots volunteers connected to children, adolescents, and adults with this disease, JDRF is the largest charitable supporter of T1D research.

Gerriets II Video Credit List is stored here http://broadcaster.beazil.net/public/credits/youtube/videos/160894 You’re the reason for our success. Every dollar we put toward research comes from donations. So when you support JDRF with your time, talent, voice and, yes, your money, you enable us to advance even more research. There are many ways to join the JDRF family, but for 45 years there has been only one reason—because we are the organization that will turn Type One into Type None. Take Action – Don’t be indifferent! As of 2010, the total population of Burton is 29,999, which is 1.02% less than it was in 2000. The population growth rate is about the same as the state average rate of -0.55% and is much lower than the national average rate of 9.71%. The Burton population density is 1,280.70 people per square mile, which is much higher than the state average density of 102.20 people per square mile and is much higher than the national average density of 81.32 people per square mile. The most prevalent race in Burton is white, which represent 88.14% of the total population. The average Burton education level is lower than the state average and is lower than the national average. People with T1D would never benefit from JDRF-funded innovations without our donors. The work to create transformational therapies to help people live with T1D cannot—and must not—be allowed to stop because dedicated researchers lack funds. Laboratory studies that are unlocking the mysteries of T1D and accelerating progress toward a cure and prevention must continue. With the generous help of supporters like you, JDRF is pursuing a diversified, dynamic research agenda that is moving us ever closer to a world without T1D. If you live with T1D, you spend a lot of time thinking about your blood-sugar levels now and worrying about the complications that T1D may one day bring. Health Care and Social Assistance comprises establishments primarily engaged in providing health care by diagnosis and treatment, providing residential care for medical and social reasons, and providing social assistance, such as counselling, welfare, child protection, community housing and food services, vocational rehabilitation and child care, to those requiring such assistance. Every parent with a child with T1D has a different life since his child has been diagnosed. John Brady says that even though diabetes is a horrible disease, it waked the whole family up. All members began to be more thoughtful and caring about each other. Diabetes makes people understand that life is fragile and even makes people to value their lives. Two families with T1D kids share their experience about this disease. Fathers thank JDRF research for the treatment which is improving dramatically. The progress is great in treating this disease and this fact inspires greatly. T1D made all members of the families appreciate the time spent together.
