According to Aaron, the Walk is a great social event which unites a lot of people with one single goal – to help JDRF research. Money, raised during the walk, really does help and the research progresses. The quality of life of T1D people has improved greatly with JDRF’s research team help. The statistics of people, who live with T1D amazes. Aaron tells that through JDRF and Support groups he and his family has met a lot of great people. However, most of all they want a cure and to see their daughter healthy. Aaron and everyone who met T1D in their life will fight to the end to find the cure and do everything what is possible. Health Care & Social Assistance sector comprises firms providing health care and social assistance for individuals. The sector includes both health care and social assistance because it is sometimes difficult to distinguish between the boundaries of these two activities. The industries in this sector are arranged on a continuum starting with providing medical care exclusively, continuing with those providing health care and social assistance and finally finishing with only social assistance. The services provided in this sector are delivered by trained health practitioners and social workers with requisite experience. In the United States House of Representatives, Fair Oaks is in California’s 7th congressional district, represented by Democrat Ami Bera.
Fair Oaks is an unincorporated community represented by Susan Peters on the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors. A Local Planning Council, made up of 7 community members, is appointed by the Board of Supervisors to recommend land-use decisions for Fair Oaks. These recommendations are then sent to the Planning Commission of Sacramento County. The Sacramento County Sheriff provides law enforcement for Fair Oaks.
