Bates College biologist receives grant for innovative arsenic research



Rebecca Sommer, associate professor of biology at Bates College, has received a $419,000 grant from the National Institutes of Health to study the connection between low exposures to arsenic early in life, and diabetes and other diseases in adulthood.
