'Deadly Legs' get Conrad back on his feet

An Alice Springs prosthetic leg maker has come up with a novel way of giving back pride to amputees. Type 2 diabetes is a rapidly increasing problem in Central Australia and the rate of amputation is well above the national average. The ‘Deadly Legs’ project is using art to remove the sense of shame some people feel after having limbs amputated. NITV’s Danny Teece-Johnson has the story for ‘The Point with Stan Grant’.
