T1D can be living in anyone, it comes in all shapes and sizes, different colors, forms. When you have diabetes, you pancreas doesn’t produce insulin. It’s not caused by your diet, it’s not caused by anything you did. T1D can be very serious, the biggest fear all T1D people have is the diabetes complications, which are not always predictable. It’s really hard to have diabetes, but the families and friends push them every day to be strong. That is what keeps most of T1D people keep along. Every T1D person has a lot of highs and a lot of lows; it’s not easy to explain what it is to manage diabetes every second of your life. People with diabetes prick their fingers a lot and constant insulin injections. It’s what diabetics do every day to survive. The biggest dream for every T1D person is to find the cure and to get rid of T1D. If your doctor thinks you have T1D, he will check your blood sugar levels. Many people with T1D lives healthy lives. The key to good health is to keep your blood sugar levels within the range doctor gives you. How is Type 1 Diabetes Different from Type 2 Diabetes? In type 2 diabetes, your body does not use insulin properly. This is called insulin resistance. At first, the beta-cells make extra insulin to make up for it. But, over time your pancreas isn’t able to keep up and can’t make enough insulin to keep your blood glucose levels normal. Type 2 diabetes can be treated with oral medications, and/or insulin. However, the most attractive feature at the Plainfield Recreation Aquatic Center is the 3.1 acre tropical-themed Splash Island Family Waterpark. It includes three waterslides, a play area for all ages and plenty of deck space and grass areas for sunbathing. The park also includes a six-lane competition pool with two 1-meter springboards.
