Kansas Dental Project (1 of 3)
Right now, 93 Kansas counties no longer have enough dentists to serve their residents. Thirteen of those counties have no dentist at all. Without access to a dentist, hundreds of thousands of Kansans are going without dental services, which affects their ability to work and go to school. It also affects their overall health because dental health isn’t just about teeth. Dental problems, when left untreated, can lead to serious medical conditions like heart disease, diabetes and stroke. Produced by the Kansas Dental Project.
