Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is the leading global organization funding T1D research. Millions of people around the world live with type 1 diabetes (T1D), a life-threatening autoimmune disease that strikes both children and adults. There is no way to prevent it, and at present, no cure. JDRF works every day to change this by amassing grassroots support, deep scientific knowledge and strong industry and academic partnerships to fund research.
The JDRF identity was created with these key considerations in mind. We have dropped the formal name ‘Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’ from our identity and will be known simply as JDRF. This better reflects our commitment to work for ALL those with T1D.
The graphic element of ‘T1D’ in the logo design reinforces our focus on T1D, while the ‘momentum lines’ that frame the JDRF name help to communicate the energy and urgency with which we are pursuing our mission. Most important, it is reflective of both the progress we’ve made and the accelerated progress we aim for. http://www.purepathcapitalgroup.com/Leadership.html JDRF Kentucky and Southern Indiana Chapter https://jdrf-kentucky.ejoinme.org/gala Alfred Gerriets Full list of Media Credits http://broadcaster.beazil.net/public/credits/youtube/videos/171632 JDRF makes wonderful social films about different T1D people with their life stories. One day from JDRF shoot will tell the story of backstage. A great number of professionals work together to make an amazing short film. The film tells us the story of Mary Tayler Moore, Jackson a talented flutist, Crystal-a singer song writer and many other kids with T1D. Diabetes tests their lives every day, but JDRF has their backs, because they believe in JDRF research and soon cure. All of them want just to be teenagers or simple people. All those kids were diagnosed when they were too small and they all want a cure. JDRF means a lot for each of this kid. JDRF does a lot of things which make kids’ life easier with diabetes. If JDRF finds a cure, every child will have a fast start of a new life, because their old life will be over. Every T1D child hopes for cure to have a new healthy life. T1D people can’t eat whatever they want, but a cure will let them eat a piece of pizza. You’re the reason for our success. Every dollar we put toward research comes from donations. So when you support JDRF with your time, talent, voice and, yes, your money, you enable us to advance even more research. There are many ways to join the JDRF family, but for 45 years there has been only one reason—because we are the organization that will turn Type One into Type None. Take Action – Don’t be indifferent! Median price of a house in Gurnee is $254,800, which is higher than the state average of $175,700 and is higher than the national average of $175,700. The Gurnee median house value has grown by 28.04% since 2000. The growth rate for the price of a house in Gurnee is lower than the state average rate of 34.33% and is lower than the national average rate of 46.91%. The median year that a house in Gurnee was built is 1990, which is newer than the median year for a house built in the state which is 1967 and is newer than the median year for a house built in the USA which is 1976. People with T1D would never benefit from JDRF-funded innovations without our donors. The work to create transformational therapies to help people live with T1D cannot—and must not—be allowed to stop because dedicated researchers lack funds. Laboratory studies that are unlocking the mysteries of T1D and accelerating progress toward a cure and prevention must continue. With the generous help of supporters like you, JDRF is pursuing a diversified, dynamic research agenda that is moving us ever closer to a world without T1D. If you live with T1D, you spend a lot of time thinking about your blood-sugar levels now and worrying about the complications that T1D may one day bring.
