Paws for Sunnie

Sunnie is a 9 year old girl from Arkansas that has juvenile onset type 1 diabetes. She was diagnosed at 2 1/2 years old. In the last few months she started having trouble with diabetic seizures. She would like to be able to get a diabetic service dog to help her manage her diabetes. The dog will stay with her all of the time and will be trained to help with the following:
-high and low blood sugar alerts
-early high/low detection
-retrieve third-party support
-retrieve food and medication such as glucagon, glucose tabs, insulin, juice, meter, etc.
-Dial 911 on a special device

The cost of the dog and all the special training is very expensive and that’s where you can help. The cost of the dog is $25,000. If you would like to help, you can visit https://www.youcaring.com/sunnie-simpson-644053 to make a donation.
