Cooking Teams: The 3 cooking teams were composed of people with pre-diabetes or diabetes, some are at cardio-metabolic risk and others were at risk for chronic disease who could benefit from learning to cook healthier meals on a daily basis. Recipes were selected beforehand so the team members could shop for the ingredients. A time limit was set for the preparation and cooking of the meal, with a taste test and discussion afterwards.
Production Team: With a crew of 7 we videoed the 3 cooking teams in real time. The video was produced using 3 Sony HD cameras, Sennheiser wireless microphones, Arriflex lights, an audio engineer and 1 MacPro laptop. This video represents a portion of the finished program.
