Social Situations and Type 1 Diabetes at School | Missing Out
Welcome to Type 1 Tuesday! Today I am talking about the importance of our Type 1 children to be apart of the everyday social situations at school. This year in second grade is the first year Henry was missing out. After school I would watch all of his friends laughing and walking out of the school together without Henry. Watch to see what he was missing out on and how we remedied the situation. As parents of a Type 1 diabetic, we often look at the class time and blood sugar check times and lows and highs but we forget about the social aspect of school. Thanks for watching! Subscribe so you don’t miss another video! I will see you next week for another Type 1 Tuesday!
