Statins and Diabetes Risk – Should You Be Concerned?
National guidelines recommend that patients who have diabetes take a statin medication because of their high risk for heart disease. On the other hand, there has been a lot of recent discussion about research that shows an increased risk of diabetes for those taking a statin.

2. Do the benefits of statins outweigh the risk of diabetes?
3. Are there statins that don’t increase the risk of diabetes?
