A new study says that healthy diet, exercise and proper medical treatment can possibly help to reduce Type 2 diabetes.
The research was done on 83 individuals with type 2 diabetes.
Participants were provided with a personalized exercise plan and a suggested meal plan.
It helped them to reduce 500 to 750 calories a day.
It was found that oral medicines, insulin and lifestyle therapies taken regularly for two to four months helped the patients to reduce their health condition by up to 40 percent.
