Tending to a Sore Penis Related to Penis Stretching
This is no news flash, but men do tend to be a bit concerned about their penis size. In pursuit of a little extra length, many men pursue different options – including penis stretching. Whether penis stretching can increase penis size or not, a lot of men are going to try this out. With that in mind, this article is intended to provide suggestions on how to hopefully prevent a sore penis from developing after stretching or to help soothe that sore penis if it can’t be prevented.
There are many variations on penis stretching techniques, but let’s focus on the two main ones:
– Manual (hand) stretching, and
– Penis extenders.
A low-tech option that is especially popular, manual stretching will be second nature to any guy who has ever masturbated. This method involves wrapping the hand around the penis right below the head, then pulling down and stretching out the penis. It is suggested that the man hold this stretch for 30 seconds, then release the stretch. Penis extenders are contraptions that fit on the penis and force it to stretch. It is often similar to putting the penis in traction. There is a greater risk of a sore penis (or even of penis damage) with an extender than with simple manual penis stretching.
It is important that the penis is properly warmed up before either form of stretching is attempted. The best way is to apply a warm (not hot) cloth to the penis and wrap it around it for a few minutes before beginning the stretching. This helps loosen the skin and make it more pliable.
Knowing when to stop is also key to preventing a sore penis. If a guy begins to notice penis pain, he should cease the activity – or be prepared to have some soreness after the session is over.
