Type 1 Diabetes diagnosis influences young woman’s passion for nursing career at Northside Cherokee
Growing up with Type 1 Diabetes showed Erin Turner firsthand how a nurse’s compassion and support can impact the lives of patients. Turner studied nursing and is now a registered nurse at Northside Hospital Cherokee in the area where she grew up.
Turner loves seeing people from her hometown at work, and being able to give back to her community through nursing and volunteerism around Type 1 Diabetes.
