UHC-Medicare Made Clear-spanish-:30H-ISCI: UHCN4ASP30-H
The numbers are staggering – more than 20 percent of the 54 million Americans currently enrolled in Medicare are living with diabetes. Additionally, of the 10,000 baby boomers who become eligible for Medicare each day, many either have diabetes or are pre-diabetic, meaning the number of people with diabetes on Medicare will grow exponentially in the coming years.
The National Association of Area Agencies on Aging (n4a) knows that the health care regimen for people living with diabetes can be challenging. The good news is that Medicare can help. n4a is a trusted resource and advocate for older Americans, many of whom are living with diabetes, and is committed to helping older adults take control of their health.
UnitedHealthcare, which serves nearly one in five Medicare beneficiaries and is dedicated to the health and well-being of seniors, has partnered with n4a to produce the enclosed Public Service Announcements (PSAs) to raise awareness of the Medicare benefits available to people with diabetes.
By airing these :30 and :60 PSAs, you can empower seniors and their loved ones by helping them understand how Medicare benefits can help them better manage their condition and build a healthier lifestyle.
