Unarmed policeman stabbed to death in UK Parliament attack
At least five people were killed after an apparent terrorist attack took place in London near the houses of parliament on Wednesday.
The incident occurred around 2:20 p.m. local time when the Westminster Bridge and pavements were packed with tourists and pedestrians, while Parliament was in session.
After mowing down at least 20 people on the bridge, a car sped towards the Palace of Westminster, and only came to a halt when it crashed into the railings of the New Palace Yard.
The suspect then ran to the Parliament grounds where he stabbed and killed an unarmed police officer. The suspect himself was then shot dead by police.
The suspect has not yet been identified. It is believed that he acted alone.
