Protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B acts as a physiological resistant of the insulin receptor and the insulin receptor substrates. And also bitter gourd is really good for weight loss as well. Studies have shown that there were no fat gain in mice even under a high fat diet. Inhibition and reduction of Protein tyrosine phosphatase 1 B level is a potential target for the prevention and treatment of insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes.
